What is offshore Recruitment Process Outsourcing (oRPO)?

oRPO is the transfer or delegation of onshore recruitment process elements (or of the entire process) to an offshore service provider.

The term Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) was first used by OS2i in early 2003 then subsequently adopted by US and UK companies who generally define RPO as the outsourcing of the entire recruitment process.

The fact is that there is no single definition of RPO as it comes in a large number of different shapes, sizes and "flavours". However, to eradicate confusion, within the global recruitment industry OS2i has chosen to classify our "flavour" of offshore recruitment process outsourcing, oRPO.
